If you love food, it’s never been a better time to stop by the High Line. This season marks the first time that we are offering both sweet and savory food on the park itself, and we just got word that our friends over at The Standard, New York have opened a new seasonal outdoor restaurant below the High Line.

Their new restaurant is called The Standard Plaza, and it features Spanish cuisine prepared in a new, wood-fired oven and grill, as well as Spanish wines on tap, sangria, and cocktails, just in time for the summer heat wave!

Chef Seamus Mullen’s menu is inspired by the Mediterranean, and includes special dishes for the lunch and the weekend brunch crowd. Some recipes even include fresh herbs and summer produce from The Farm at Locusts-on-Hudson, the Upstate New York farm owned by André Balazs.

Stop by with friends to share a small plate as a snack, or try out the larger plates for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is open daily, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM Sunday through Thursday, and from 11:30 AM to 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
